Using Aunori

Aunori is a personal acoustic-memory app for iPhone. You may use the app for lawful personal purposes and in accordance with these terms, the App Store rules, and Apple’s applicable end-user licence terms.

Your Moments

You keep responsibility for the photos, recordings, notes, and other material you capture or import. Only record people, conversations, places, or events when you are permitted to do so. Aunori does not obtain ownership of your Moments.

Local storage and backups

Aunori is local-first. You are responsible for protecting your device and maintaining any exports or backups you need. Optional iCloud functionality is provided through Apple services and should not be treated as a guarantee of permanent or uninterrupted backup.

Aunori Pro

Any subscription price, billing period, trial, and renewal terms are shown by the App Store before purchase. Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple and may be cancelled through your Apple account settings. Ending Pro does not remove access to your locally stored Moments, but Pro-only replay, rediscovery, reminder, or sync features may stop being available.

Availability and compatibility

Some features depend on the iPhone model, iOS version, recording format, permissions, location availability, iCloud status, or Apple services. Features may change as Aunori develops. The app is provided without a promise that every feature will always be available or error-free.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Aunori, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it to violate another person’s privacy, intellectual property, or other legal rights.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under the laws that apply to you. To the extent permitted by law, Aunori is not responsible for indirect losses or for data loss caused by device failure, deleted local storage, unavailable third-party services, or failure to maintain a backup.

Apple terms

Unless a separate licence is presented with the app, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the licence obtained through the App Store.

Changes and contact

These terms may be updated as Aunori changes. Material changes will be reflected by a new date on this page. Questions can be raised through Aunori Support. See the Privacy Policy for information about data handling.
